Hotel a Eastern Panhandle

“We normally travel in a motorhome and don't stay in hotels much. But we had a short trip, so decided to stay at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA. We had stayed there before. The room was very nice but was surprised by the lack of a electrical outlet next to the bathroom sink for an electric toothbrush, etc. I really liked that the front desk texted me to see how our stay was going (nice touch). The first night, there was a loud, continuous commotion in our hallway and the room next door. ...

“Hotel has been updated recently. Our room air conditioner started leaking in the night. Staff quickly transferred us first thing in the morning to another room. The water was also turned off in town for 4 hours during the night. Not fault of the hotel, and luckily didn’t affect us much since it was between 10pm-2am. Disadvantage was not elevator to get to our second floor room with multiple bags/suitcases. No pool at this location. Breakfast was delicious!”

“The hotel smelled great as I walked in, like fresh laundry. It was decorated cheerfully & was welcoming. Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. I had completed some of my check in online, so jt was a breeze. The room looked clean at first glance, but hadnt been dusted. There was a towel smeared with red lipstick thrown beneath the sink. Bed & pillows were fluffy & comfortable. The grounds had cut wood for a bonfire, a nice picnic spot with a small grill, and cornhole boards. I didnt play...

“I had a very pleasant day clarion inn—-it is within walking distance 9f River Riders, also known as Snow Riders in the winter it took me five minutes to walk there to their headquarters. They offer a good breakfast not elaborate but sufficient several choices you could make your own waffles, but I was disappointed that they’re beautiful pool is not functional because the heater needs to be fixed or replaced after a long day of hiking or kayaking. “Room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with everything fresh and in abundance. TV had poor to few selection of premium channels”

“The staff at the spa the refuse to service me and my partner for a pedicure, we just told no cause the were unavailable to attend us, like we don't matter, we're very unpolished, however the staff at the restaurant make up for that and they were fantastic, excelente food and superior service.”

Our floor was terribly dirty, didn't have enough towels, the room looked as if had been partially remodeled but was not finished, and the pool was closed.
